What do we wear?

Most workouts can be done from home so you can wear whatever you”re comfortable in. We would advise you make sure you have a good pair of trainers and some workout clothes though, because you will be getting sweaty!

I have kids, and I want to know if can do the workouts at times that suited me.

We stream challenges and workouts live, and it”s always amazing to be working out alongside the stream. But this isn”t practical for everyone, so you”ll be given a date to complete each challenge, meaning you can watch the recording and fit it into your own schedule.

Will I be able to adapt the exercises to suit my strengths and weaknesses?

The challenges will be set according to your experience and fitness level. But you have to remember that the best way to turn a weakness into a strength is to do it over and over again! Can”t do single press-up? You should be trying every day! Scared of burpees? Do more!

I have a physical/mobility issue, are the challenges and exercises adaptable?

Yes, just let Dean know when you sign up and he can help you work around any issues or niggles you have.

There is no way I can run, never mind a 5k. What can I do instead?

We would be eating in fancy restaurants every night if we had a tenner for every person who has said this! The crazy thing is, everyone still manages it! If you can”t run because of you fitness level, then go out and cycle it, or walk it, or do it on a rowing machine – just move your bum and cover the distance! If you can”t run because of an injury or other condition, just let Dean know and he will work with you to work around it.

Do you run classes somewhere alongside the challenges you set?

We will occasionally put on live workouts in different locations which everyone is invited to, and there are workshop, live training calls and one-to-one calls going on throughout the 30 days as well.

Do I need to use the gym?

One of the best things about the shred is that the workouts can be done from anywhere! bedroom, living room, garden, beach, park… Anywhere! If you prefer going to the gym then you can but it”s not necessary.

Do I have to exercise every day of the 30 day shred?

Rest is just as important as exercise. The full protocol will be provided when you join, but you are doing everything at your own pace. It”s up to you how hard you work, so if you feel like you need an extra rest day, then no problem.

Will I need to buy any expensive training equipment?

No equipment is necessary! We would advise you make sure you have a good pair of trainers and some workout clothes because you will be getting sweaty!

The exercises are all bodyweight exercises, and are all designed to get you off your butt and moving it! Anything worthwhile in life comes at the other side of hard work. We will show you how to complete the workouts and challenges at your level, but the answer is yes, this will be hard. Are you up for some hard work?

Can I still have my tea and coffee?

You”ll be going through a detox in the first few days so no tea or coffee when you start, but after that, 2-4 cups over the course of the day should be fine, but feel free to check in with the community when you join to see what works for other people.

I don’t like certain foods, what can I eat?

What about alcohol?

We know you have to live your normal life and you can”t avoid events and social occasions, or even the odd beer or wine at the end of the day. Just remember the main ingredients in any alcoholic drink are water and sugar…!

Can I have a “treat” day?

100%. We know you have to live your normal life and you can”t avoid events and social occasions. Treat days work out well when you are changing the way you eat. At the end of the day, too many treats means you are cheating yourself of the results you should be getting from the hard work you”ll be putting in other areas.

Is it a strict diet?

Let”s not call it a diet. We introduce you to a new, healthier way of eating which will give you enough energy to last the day but also help you get shredded! We think you should enjoy your food, so we advise eating fresh food, clean protein sources like chicken and fish and plenty of veggies! Ultimately, anything too restrictive will not be stuck to and you will not get the results we know you are capable of.

Can I mix and match the food or do I have to stick to recipes?

The recipes we provide are there to make life easier for you if you are just getting started with the shred and this kind of meal planning and eating. Is the diet coeliac friendly?

We typically stay away from pasta and bread, but the recipe books we send when you sign up will give you enough choice whether you are a coeliac, vegetarian, vegan or just picky!

We provide a number of recipe books for you to get inspiration from so you can put together a meal plan that works for you, as well as show you how to put a meal plan together and of course, guidance from Dean and all in the community.

Do you have to be on Herbalife?

The bottom line is, this will be hard and it will mean you have to prioritise your health. If you can”t do that then this may not be for you.

Is it the same thing as fit club?

No, Wallace Wolves 30 Day Shred is fully online and you can do it all from the comfort of your own home while enjoying the same kind of community or social feels you will get from a fit club.

What happens after the shred is finished?

At the end of every shred, the whole community celebrates their successes with an event. This is sometimes a party with food and drink and entertainment, and it is sometimes a different kind of event, such as running a 5k assault course and raining money for charity! Once everyone’s had a little rest period, we then get ready to go again!
